February In Pics

Wow....February really came and went in the blink of an eye so we are recapping the whole month in pictures

We went down to Utah for Blake's cousins wedding-even though we were down for only 24 hours we got to hang out with cousins

Blake's Cousin Brady became an instant dad when he got married to Presha.  Brady's cute new daughter is  Brooklyn and she is one month younger than Sophie.  Sophie's was attached to her the whole time we were at the wedding

Will found his fingers.  The cute thing is these are the exact fingers I sucked as a baby.  I'm still hoping he will continue to take the binki over his fingers

The girls included Will in their Fort

Sophie started to sleep with Allie in her twin bed to trial out sleeping in a big girl bed.  These girls are such snugglers, I would constantly find their arms and legs intertwined at night

We found a steal on some bunk beds and got to set up the girls new room

We celebrated LOVE day!

We had many craft days due to the frigid weather that continued through February.  Sophie learned how to use scissors this month; I was constantly finding little strips of paper all over my house.  I love finding these little memories from my kids all over

Will's 1st Haircut

Will followed in Sophie's footsteps and never lost the hair that he was born with.  It continued to grow until Blake asked me one day when I was going to cut his hair.  It was growing into a mullet in the back and the hair on the sides was growing down over his ears.  At 4 months old I called my friend Heidi over to give our little man a trim

I knew Will would look so much better after his haircut but failed to realize I'd loose my baby face

Sitting like a big boy in the bumbo

My new big boy!
The one good thing that came from the first haircut is I can finally spike the hair in the front again.

Allie looses her 1st top tooth

I can't believe my baby girl is growing up and some how loosing those baby teeth makes Allie feel even older to me.  We always love to get pictures right before the tooth comes out to have one last photo of that little girl

As you can see this tooth is hanging by a thread; Blake kept playing around with it and the root kept breaking and popping like crazy

Taking a break on the tooth yanking and hanging out on the top bunk

The newest toothless smile.  Allie was excited the tooth fairy would be coming to find her

4 Month Old Will

I am enjoying you as a baby because you are so sweet and such a good baby.  You are just so laid back and I appreciate you being such a good little guy

This month you found your fingers.  The funny thing is I sucked these exact fingers when I was little

I moved you into your crib.  Its a bitter sweet moment when this happens.  I feel like we both sleep a little better once this moment happens but don't want to miss out on our snuggle moments that I used to get through the night in my bed

You are amazing and fall asleep ANYWHERE.  You don't even make a peep; I will just look over and you are out; what a laid back personality you have

Happy 4 months Will bud!

January In A Nut Shell

January has FLOWN by and I feel like I have pictures everywhere so we are going to do one long post on the month's highlights.  I told Blake this is getting a little out of control between the pictures taken on the camera, IPhones, and IPads.  I can't keep them all downloaded and organized and that's month 1 of the new year.  We might just start making monthly recaps of the month:)  January was filled with lots of home time and snow time!

We spent a good week at home working on potty training Sophie and she did awesome!  She was pretty much there when we started.  She liked to have the control and I knew she knew when she had to pee and poop.  On day 2 when she pooped in her panties and we rinsed her off with cold water she was done with her "cold baths."  We have been accident free from then on

We had a lot of snowy days through the month of January.  Allie got one snow day at school during the month and we had a lot of fun playing in the snow.  We enjoyed hitting up the sledding hill a few times that is literally at the back of our neighborhood

The girls loved our snowman that we made and I did too.  I loved coming up the driveway and getting greeted by this cute guy.  We had record cold temps throughout the month with highs usually not hitting 20 degrees so our snowman didn't melt and remained in our yard pretty much the entire month.

There were a few mornings Jack frost visited and left our trees glistening with ice crystals

Soph started gymnastics and absolutely LOVES it!  This girls has so much built up energy I should have started her in these classes a long time ago

My sweet boy is getting big!  Will turned 3 months and remains my dream baby.  He never cries and loves to snuggle.  He is such a chunk; he's got big thighs and I can hardly pull his pants over the rolls.  He also discovered the hair on his head and is constantly pulling at it

We had freezing rain hit one night.  The girls loved tromping around the backyard to see who could find the biggest sheet of ice

Allie was the STAR student in her class.  She got to bring 3 things that represent her.  She brought her Geronimo Stilton book because she loves to read, a picture of her crane because she colors 24x7 and is amazing at it, and her third item was her soccer trophy because she loves to play soccer.  You are one talented girl Allie and we sure love you!  That about sums up January!
