January In A Nut Shell

January has FLOWN by and I feel like I have pictures everywhere so we are going to do one long post on the month's highlights.  I told Blake this is getting a little out of control between the pictures taken on the camera, IPhones, and IPads.  I can't keep them all downloaded and organized and that's month 1 of the new year.  We might just start making monthly recaps of the month:)  January was filled with lots of home time and snow time!

We spent a good week at home working on potty training Sophie and she did awesome!  She was pretty much there when we started.  She liked to have the control and I knew she knew when she had to pee and poop.  On day 2 when she pooped in her panties and we rinsed her off with cold water she was done with her "cold baths."  We have been accident free from then on

We had a lot of snowy days through the month of January.  Allie got one snow day at school during the month and we had a lot of fun playing in the snow.  We enjoyed hitting up the sledding hill a few times that is literally at the back of our neighborhood

The girls loved our snowman that we made and I did too.  I loved coming up the driveway and getting greeted by this cute guy.  We had record cold temps throughout the month with highs usually not hitting 20 degrees so our snowman didn't melt and remained in our yard pretty much the entire month.

There were a few mornings Jack frost visited and left our trees glistening with ice crystals

Soph started gymnastics and absolutely LOVES it!  This girls has so much built up energy I should have started her in these classes a long time ago

My sweet boy is getting big!  Will turned 3 months and remains my dream baby.  He never cries and loves to snuggle.  He is such a chunk; he's got big thighs and I can hardly pull his pants over the rolls.  He also discovered the hair on his head and is constantly pulling at it

We had freezing rain hit one night.  The girls loved tromping around the backyard to see who could find the biggest sheet of ice

Allie was the STAR student in her class.  She got to bring 3 things that represent her.  She brought her Geronimo Stilton book because she loves to read, a picture of her crane because she colors 24x7 and is amazing at it, and her third item was her soccer trophy because she loves to play soccer.  You are one talented girl Allie and we sure love you!  That about sums up January!
