A cute conversation between me and Allie this morning
Allie: "Mommy, potty."
Kim: "You need to go potty?"
Allie: "Potty, money!"
Kim: "You do get money for going potty. What do you want with your money?"
Allie: "Ice Cream Man!"
Allie is infatuated with the Ice Cream Man. I have got to get her on video when she hears the music and realizes he is in on the street. He comes through our neighborhood pretty close to daily. We have never bought anything, nor have I ever told Allie that you need money to buy the ice cream, but I guess she is pretty set on getting herself some ice cream.

Cute! My kids love the Ice Cream man too and I never buy them ice cream from the truck either. It must be some inherent gene they are born with to recognize all forms of sugar and crave it.
How cute!!! The ice cream man just came through our neighborhood tonight. I asked Owen if he wanted ice cream and he came a running. I just think it is something fun for them. Kids...so darn cute!!!

mattea loves the icecream man - i would never purchase from that little old man but david has and of course now everytime she hears the music she comes running to me - in which my response is always NO!!! one time, my neighbors stopped him and the transaction took awhile - he left his annoying music and woke mattea up from her nap. she came stumbling out "the icetream man woke me up!"
The Ice Cream Man does make his rounds in our neighborhood just about every day. I don't think we will be able to hold out all summer, especially with that hypnotic music calling all kids to come and enjoy some refreshing ice cream novelties.
p.s. I forgot to tell you Wednesday how cute Allie's hair is--what a pretty girl!
