Friday we decided to go chill out at my Aunt and Uncle's house and let Sophie get a good nap in their air conditioned house. The older kids were excited to run around and stay cool in the pool.
Oh that bike....I can hear the music now. Sophie LOVED this bike and rode it non-stop out in Michigan. My aunt and uncle were so kind and let Sophie borrow it at GG's house for the week, so it was with us every day. My Grandma was kind enough to let Sophie ride it in her house so I was constantly hearing "Care Bears Are Coming...." I'm glad it didn't end up coming home to Idaho:)
The kids all got introduced to the bikes and the hill; they loved racing down the hill
Thankfully there were plenty of bikes to go around so everyone got a lot of chances to ride
Sophie even found herself a car and tried the hill with some assistance from Uncle Keith
Papa even decided to take his turn on a bike and successfully made it down the hill with the grandkids
The big kids took a breather when the little ones went down for naps and came inside to work on some pearler beads
Later in the afternoon, Papa rounded up the kiddos and took them swimimiing. The kids loved his idea of taking them on train rides in the water. Everyone enjoyed getting cooled off on this hot and humid day
Obviously the girls were worn out from the fun day in the sun.....they both crashed when we got back to GG's
