Salt Lake Trip

We headed down to Highland, UT for our nephew Warren's baptism.  Our little family stopped in Salt Lake City Thursday afternoon to tour around City Creek Mall and Temple Square before arriving at Blake's brother's house.

We did a little shopping at the new mall

The girls cooled off in the fountain

There is such an impressive display of fountains leading down the path to temple square

We stopped over at temple square and got to show the girls around

Allie has been dying to go to watch conference in the conference center.  She thought it was the coolest thing just to be there and not be watching conference; she can't wait to go back to watch general conference.  We got a sneak peak of the Tabernacle choir practicing inside as well, which was quite the treat

We also got a private tour of the gardens up on top of the conference center

We got to watch the sunset up here and what an awesome view we had

Enjoying the view of the temple by the reflecting pool

Saturday morning we got to attend Warren's baptism....all the Hansen cousins except Seth

Warren chose to go to the Dinosaur Museum to celebrate after his baptism.  Allie couldn't get over how HUGE dinosaurs really are

Sophie enjoyed playing in the hands on sand and water exhibit

Allie and Jane made quite the island of dino's

Which dinosaur do all the cousins measure up to?

At the end of the dinosaur museum there was a "fossil" dig.  The kids enjoyed all the hands on activities at this museum; we gave it a 5 star

Sunday morning we packed up and headed over to the temple to get the kids out of the house before 1'o clock church began

Needless to say it was like 95 degrees already and the kids were way to hot for taking pictures

Sisters

All the kids were drained from the heat and no one wanted to walk or carry each other.  Cute Cam volunteered to piggy back Allie girl back to the car

These two are great little buddies, have been for quite some time and I'm sure they will continue to be.  What a great trip down to Utah hanging out with great family
